Images (.jpg, .gif, .png, etc) can be posted as Attachments (see the tab below the editing box when creating your post). Attachments are restricted to 256Kb. File types such as .pdf, .docx, pptx, and so on are not allowed. For an example see Professor Storch's Fat Extractor.
