Seeking historians to comment on how countryside recovered from WWI

I am a freelance journalist writing a feature for Countryside magazine about how the countryside recovered from WWI. The piece will cover several aspects - how did big country houses recover from losing staff and the heirs apparent, how did farms change – from losing staff to increased mechanisation, and how did we produce more to get over food shortages - among others. I'm looking for some experts / historians to chat to in relation to this. Be great if anyone could help. Kind regards, Kate (kate@kate-chapman.co.uk)
